Anything Worth Having Is Worth Working Hard For

By Alisha Washington

The best things in life are free but majority of these things require a lot of hard work. If you take the time to lay out everything of worth that you own whether it be your job, your education, your house, your car, the relationship between you and a loved one or even your own life, you will realize that it has taken a lot of hard work to get to and maintain the stability of these relationships. The obstacles that get in the way of you getting from the bottom of the ladder to the top of the ladder only make you stronger, wiser, and help you reach a fulfillment of its importance.

For instance, I am a college student working hard to get a degree in biology in order to further a career in medicine. If I just sit around and party all day I’ll never get close to this dream. In order to be successful that requires study time, long hours of diligent work, and social time to further these attributes.

The same goes for relationships people feel like starting with anyone, whether it is a friendship or one between you and a significant other. The further you get into it the harder the work gets. You have to mold each other and be able to submit yourselves into a person that is able to compromise to maintain a steady relationship. Some people don’t get that sometimes you have to put your own happiness second and by making this sacrifice you’ll get to a bigger and more magnified source of happiness. Working hard for something also builds character it gives a feeling of remorse once you made it to the your destination. When something is of importance to a person, often that person begins to feel an obligation to do something extra to maintain it.

These days it’s about survival of the fittest meaning you got to be the best that you can be in order to get the best that you can get. Giving up is an option but could turn out to be a bad one if you take it. It is of low risk because you are basically deciding for yourself that you are not going to get anywhere after all the time you have put into the task already. Just because you fall off your bike a couple of times, doesn’t mean you’re not suppose to get back on. The only way to get from one place to another in this world today is to keep on trying for your dreams no matter who tells you its impossible; sometimes you have to be the person cheering yourself on. No one ever knows the outcome of their actions but if you live a positive life full of hard diligent work I’m sure end up somewhere you want to stay.

The amount of work you put into something shows how much you’ll do to maintain it. I don’t know about you but I’ll always work hard for anything that means something to me. It’s worth it!!

Working hard is one thing but at a job teamwork is whats needed i see that sometimes people who have been with a company 3 plus years think oh the company owes me and they simply let newcomers struggle i never understand why they don’t help new workers learn their style instead they let them guess at the stuff they do its flippin ridiculious i was once told a business owner is the smarter person so work for someone save your money and open up a business in the future u can’t be a wage slave forever.
